Anna initially trained in dance at Roehampton Institute in London and then went on to study BA. Hons Fine Art at UWICardiff and received a MA Fine Art from Falmouth University in 2011.
Anna lived in Scotland for 5 years working for the Education Department at Glasgow Museums as well as working self employed for children and youth services – devising and facilitating art workshops for all ages and abilities.
As a mother, educator and artist, Anna feels very strongly about the positive impact that the creative practices can have on the future generations.
In particularly, the practice of yoga and meditation provides children with a toolbox full to bursting of breathing techniques, postures, movement and positive mind awareness to help stay focused and balanced when challenges arise.
In light of Anna’s creative and expressive background in the arts and movement, the yoga classes that Anna teach interweave story, song, games, music, dance and art into a supportive and non-competitive environment.
Anna has experience of working in a wide range of community settings including schools, nurseries, hospitals, galleries and with organisations including child and youth offending teams, SureStart and Peninsula Medical School. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.
